SuzuYa reviews
Suzuya is a Japanese market located right next to the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby. Although the store is small, it's got plenty to offer. You can find all manner of Japanese products such as Furikake, Kewpie …
This is a great place to go for many Japanese staples, sauces and fresh local Japanese "style" veggies. Some things are a bit expensive, but no more so than any other Japanese super market/import store. Staff are very helpful.
A small Japanese konbini. Prices are a bit on the high side, and are more expensive than Konbiniya. Decent selection but won't find anything exclusive compared to other Japanese stores. Be wary of near expiry items sold at full prices; I saw items that are close to expiry.

However, the prices are slightly higher compared to other Japanese stores in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, but overall, Suzuya is not my first choice when it comes to shopping for Japanese groceries.
