I have interacted with Langford police on a number of occasions and every single time they have been helpful, polite and genuinely caring. I feel grateful to live in Langford.
As a disabled senior I've recently had an interactive experience with the local constabulary . My condition of a neural disorder makes me less than communicative at times .Officer made sure I got home safe .With my dog .

Even though it was a legal place for us to park it. They should be paying a lot more attention to Langford’s major drug and aboriginal crime issues and not harassing an elderly couple visiting from out of town with no place to park their small insured motorhome during the busy summer tourist season.
Went to their HQ building for finger print and background check for my foreign visa. The packing lot and all other facilities were run down. And there was no signs anywhere pointing to the area that we supposed to go. It was very inconvenient. The whole trip took 2 hours. I was very disappointed with RCMP.
When RCMP was celebrating their 125 anniversary, they offered people with donuts and coffee. I happened to be in the area and tried out their donuts. They were really delicious. I didn't expect that.
I'm always wary of police departments, but after a visit to the local RCMP office, my faith has been restored. The officers were friendly and helpful, and they took the time to listen to my concerns. It's nice to know that there are still good cops out there.
