Flew into Qualicum Beach for lunch but silly us didn't check that restaurant is closed on Mondays. Heard from another pilot who flew in and he had good food there just the week before. I would take his word for it. …
Always a wonderful evening with attentive, friendly & happy staff. The food is exceptional and the view is so interesting (even if it's just a plane sitting on the runway). In the evening the dimmed lighting makes for such relaxed and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend this Qualicum gem. You won't be disappointed.
Short runway. The restaurant was closed unfortunately so I didn’t get to try it but the airport is well maintained and very clean!
