Wonderful place I was there when it opened. An excellent tribute to the maritime heritage of the area. However what an excellent location to recognize the contributions from the community members to the Armed Forces, police and first responders, similar to the recognition the Fortune legion gives its contributors.
Went to a talk host by the museum. The chairs were comfy, the sound system adequate and the speaker was great. We purchased a book and had a wonderful time perusing the artifacts before the talk. The admission was very affordable at $3.00 a head
