The parking lot was spacious and the walk was enjoyable. I look forward to the completion of the new campsite for tents and RVs.
The fall season adds to the beauty of the place. The logging pond is an interesting sight with river otters. The forest and mountain backdrop make it a captivating place for history lovers.
The admission was free, but the front gate staff lacked helpfulness and information. Luckily, I met a volunteer named David who provided valuable knowledge and spent time explaining things.
