The worst experience of my life, after making me jump through several hoops and literally forcing me to apply for other programs they unceremoniously cut me off when I found a job, I'm going to have to find some way to survive for 3 weeks …
Hung up on me when I called for help. So rude and unprofessional.
Had this one lady who would put the payment on hold every month due to me “not reporting my income”; however, I would speak to her each month 2 weeks before the money is deposited into my account to verify to her that my income has not changed. Super frustrating and annoying. The whole point of going off assistance is to be stable and not have to worry about this every month. Very unprofessional and it’s delayed my plans for getting off OW (Ontario Works) so much that I’m just giving up and applying for ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program). So many other better things I could be using my time and energy on right now. Really disappointed.
