Went in to shop for a bass guitar and amp. Spent 25 minutes being ignored. Instead I went home and placed an online order for pick up.. turns out their inventory was wrong and they didn't even have what I paid for. Guy on the phone offered …
I went in to Long and McQuade in Kingston today to buy a Bose L1 Pro 8. After some confusion and me telling them they had a new one in stock they went and got it. They showed up with a unit that wasn’t boxed and said they unboxed it. The unit was scuffed and scratched up. I told them I didn’t want it and they said they could rebox it. I asked why they would sell me a new item that was unboxed and they said the unit normally comes with a soft bag. I asked why it wasn’t in the bag then and they said it was missing. They then asked me if I wanted to buy any Bose S1s while I was there. They gave me a sticker for a “free 6 months warranty with purchase”, and said to keep the receipt for reference but not to use it because it’s just a sticker.
