We had a fantastic trip! Bus driver was safe and knew the best places to park for easy access to our destinations. Our tour director was knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic. Office staff were very helpful and answered all my questions.

Awesome company, professional drivers and tour directors who are always personable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Most also have a great sense of humour. I have taken at least 8 trips with Great Canadian (have now seen almost all of North America) and always find them fun and enjoyable. Their overnight stays are usually good hotels with easy access, decent restaurant choices, and good staff. I personally like the fact that they usually have some free time built-in during the day. Overall, I would rate Great Canadian an A+

Just returned home from a three day getaway with Great Canadian to Pelee Island, including a stay at the Windsor Casino, a visit to Parks Blueberries, the ferry ride to Pelee Island, and of course, the sensational Rum Runners Tour. Every aspect of our trip was outstanding. The variety of activities was great and the addition of the trolley ride was unexpected but complemented our tour beautifully. The meals were delicious and well presented. Our tour host was the best. She was so informative, entertaining, friendly and took the time to make everyone feel special. The bus ride was comfortable and the driver did a great job. He tried to find parking as close to our destinations as possible with no easy task. We never felt rushed. Highly recommend this trip.
I have only been on 1 Trafalgar tour but after doing research Trafalgar was our unanimous choice for our first trip to Europe this year. The heritage highlights is an excellent tour and any of the choices offered will provide a wonderful destination full of interesting sites and beautiful scenery. The extra activities are also usually well worth doing. I won't hesitate to book with Trafalgar when we go on our next trip.
Awesome!... have booked almost 10 trips with Great Canadian over the past 2 years and have just come home from a bus tour of New York last Saturday - had the best time. Have also gone to Buffalo twice, Nashville Oklahoma, Ohio and more I do not recall at the moment. I love these bus tours and GT makes it the most pleasant experience ever. They go over and above making the trips a ton of fun and IMO you definitely get your money's worth. Dont even consider a competitor. Trust me - if you take them once you'll never look anywhere else again. These people truly do make travelling fun!
I have to say this trip was one of the best experiences I've had with a tour company. I can understand how about 80% of the folks on bus tours are repeat customers. The bus driver, Dave, is a very safe and accommodating driver and I never felt unsafe at any time. And same for the assistant tour guide,Lyle. He told jokes and made it enjoyable learning and seeing the sights..Excellent choices on meals....very good..... Actually, all of the teachers on the trip gave Dave and Lyle a mark of 100% and Lyle commented that he will probably have same response from TAP passengers. My granddaughters and her friend on another trip. Now most of the class have their seats booked for next year.
We recently took a trip with Great Canadian Holidays to the Nashville and Smoky Mountains. What an amazing time my husband and I had. All aspects of the trip were wonderful, great planned stops, attractions and it was a lot of fun. We had a great tour bus driver too. Great hotels were chosen for our stays and the swimming pools were a great bonus. I have to say that Syl and Cheryl are absolutely fabulous tour guides. They work so hard to make sure every passenger is happy and safe. The bus is amazing - from the USB ports and reclining seats for each passenger to the restrooms on board; we were well equipped and safe. Thanks again for a great trip and we look forward to many more with Great Canadian Holidays
Just returned from New York City Tour with Great Canadian. As usual, everything was perfect. Accommodation was excellent. Our director, Tim, was informative and entertaining. Our driver, Karl, was excellent. We were treated to another tour guide, Scott, who did an excellent job. Our travel consultant from St. Jacobs was exceptional and answered many of our questions after the show before we left. He was always pleasant and answered all our questions. Thanks you for all your attention and professional attitude.
We took our first trip with Great Canadian Holidays last week and it was fantastic!! Bus #79 Journey had all the amenities - outlets, USB ports at each seat, bathroom - and John was a great and safe driver. Michelle our director was excellent, explaining everything that was happening. The trip itinerary in my mind was well thought out. I could go on and on but it would be soooo long. Suffice to say, if you want a FANTASTIC bus tour, book with Great Canadian Holidays- we are so very happy that we did!
Returned from Alburto Alberta yesterday with Great Canadian Holidays. My husband and I had a great time. The bus driver (Djerry) did a great job. Our tour guides Jan and Jeff were excellent. Sherry Ann did her usual 110% work with the lunches and meals. Loved the l asagna at the lunch stop we made. First day in Calgary was a bit cool, but the weather just go better and better. The wetlands are like a sea of wildflowers at this time of year..
We recently returned from the Viking river cruise trip. It was fabulous. The crew, Jolielle and Mohib, food, lodgings(Gold Standard on mür) are all first class. The included tours, 3-4/day, with each guided by exceptional local guides, made for in-depth understanding of each area visited. The ship was beautiful, easy to negotiate (we've been in some smallest cabins before). They're doing a 'Great Russian' river cruise. Again, Jolielle and Mohib did their utmost to answer any and all vuestions we had. It was a very memorable trip.
I took the Tuscany Tour a couple of weeks ago. I must say that both Tim and Ralph did a fantastic job! The beautiful scenery, the lovely people along the way, the wonderful itinerary (with free time built in as well), and the delicious food, all added to the enjoyment of the trip. My fellow travellers were also great company. Would I recommend this tour? Absolutely!!
