My baby boy(Almost 6 Months) had his first lesson today. I absolutely understand that as a first time mom I am sensitive about my baby. The first class was supposed to be yesterday which we went in and then got to know one parent had to cancel his class because of covid and hence there would be no class(Safety is more important). I received many calls from a super kind jessica because we didn't know this info until walking in for our first class;I didn't think to check the FB page. Jessica was so nice, patient and I truly feel like she cared about me and my little one. When I arrived in today to the place all the staff wsas following precautions, the door was opened by a worker and even picked up the carrier with my son in it as I had to step over something and couldn't do it with him in my arms, Places for your coats/jackets/shoes/carriers ( its winter) to go, and masking when we were near others. Elisa popped out with so many enthusiastic feelings and energy! No joke! I felt overwhelmed. In a good way. So excited that there is a place out here that, when I finish my mat leave, I will get to meet other parents. So excited to dive right in and put my baby in the water after a short conversation with Elisa, I got comfortable with her, her vibe, and her high energy! Elisa had a very bubbly and high positive note of voice and demeanor. Elisa ran through our journey of life for swimming our way every week. She doesn’t teach baby independence (baby walking) which gave all the babies that had progressed to higher levels, that which they achieved at goldfish! For several places but recognized here more. They truly believe in not setting their little ones up for success! Rather so the parents that they are sure the children are capable of it. They are more confident! In the beginning, I was told she wouldn't push him too much, this was perfect for us but especially my husband. The first going under test for us, first time ever as a family now that I look back and see. I was not at all nervous to have Elisa with my son in the water, I was nervous of my own reactions as he goes under since I cry. Haha, I cried several times as she showed him splash, swim and kicking out to Elisa to catch him. I balled. To hold him out to me to hold, sit on the edge of the pool and then splash his feet in like mommy wanted to when bathing and his reactions bobbing up and down, putting him back under the water, catching him and I videoed so then the gumption piece started as she was about to let go. Wet dressed and waiting for a man and a dog to come into my house that wasn't a Mitch, my brother/friend and his dog. It was a man with a mask on, I didn't know who it was since they didn't disclose wearing a mask and don’t blame them to have been worried. So I can see both points of views. Having had some amazing swim instructors in my time. Apparently she doesn't have kids' bunks last which is a huge no no! Instructors! But only one for the 30-minute class and each one I have had at the classes with Elisa has had their own children in the classes. They obviously adore her. The lessons after all this. Elisa had to break and it is not in the goldfish process, in 5 attempts that Luther made, Elisa’s son couldn't ( THE GOLDENED KID or wait that's not right). but He DID nail all 5 and gave him just his pieces that she had broken where he had deliberately achieved the 5 he was part of, and he didn't win the real issue. He was a buddy before she came out declaring it was her week in the pool. Love you always Luther.

Two kids enrolled since Dec. Dec was great and then it started going downhill. An instructor issue led to a replacement, which impacted progress, because my child lost weeks of proper instruction that we paid for but didn't receive.
