I remember going to this place 30 years ago, as a kid. I discovered comic books for the first time here. It was an amazing place with kind people. I can’t believe it’s still there. What an achievement!
This is a pretty quirky shop. You enter into a comic area with posters hanging. A table that is well labeled for digging a small amount of back issues. There's a 1/2 price tpb display shelf. There's a full wall of recent issues, kind of cluttered, kind of stacked on top of flat files. Different sections kind of have their own flavor. They got a couple of Transformers shelves with the comic books (this makes sense). The back rooms are filled with hot figures and trades. The guy that runs the shop is super nice at the counter. Super knowledgeable. It looks like a one-man operation. Probably has a side gig like doing RC cars. There’s also a bunch of boxes packed with non-stock etc products. I’m a comic book fan so I enjoyed my visit here.
