Laughable company. Sent me a “final notice” in August for $12. Had literally not received any other notices to pay otherwise I would have, so I paid the $12 and then called to cancel. They told me that they closed the account in May for non-payment before sending me notices. Then it turned out they closed my account due to inactivity and that I would have needed to apply again and have it sent out. So I did that and received it and all was good. Then today I called to activate my new card and they told me that they closed it because it was unpaid too long and that was why they sent me notices after. The guy also told me that he saw that I paid the $12. If he saw that payment being made then why wouldn’t he just call and tell me that it was paid and activated? So all in all I said okay so what’s the bottom line what do I do now? You guys sent me a card and I literally couldn’t ever activate it. Waiting a week and a half to apply and another week and a half to receive a card just to have it be inactive after 3 weeks is a joke. They asked me if I still wanted it and I of course figured okay yah I’ll still want it I just received it today and I do need a credit card right now and you guys said it was closed. I laughed a little bit on the phone it was just so ridiculous. But okay I’ll say send it to me and I’ll activate it and then it will be good to go and they said sure okay we can send you another one and we will waive your next number month’s monthly fee. I think they need to waive a lot more than that. Before this happened a few weeks ago CodeWorks called me and I said no thank you, I don’t need any other credit cards. It turns out CodeWorks is Collabria, just a different name. So I guess I told them that they might want to think about that because I do get more than one offer quite often. They told me that it was actually not a code works but they work for them so I guess I don’t know it just seems like it’s all a crock. So in a nutshell I would never recommend this card or company to anyone. Thanks for the 3 weeks of wasted time I got to experience with them. The guy also said is there anything else I can help you with? I said no you’ve done enough. And he said well okay thank you for calling Collabria and I said well thanks for the fine job! They also asked of me to send further validity documents on to Newfoundland and I was just a little confused because your company closed my account. So he asked, “oh so you don’t have any Collabria credit cards anymore?” And I said well I do now he said “oh sadly no you don’t have any”. I’m just not quite sure what else there would have been to validate because I did everything under the sun. I even called today to set up the account through phone ID and my internet. It seems like what else can you do from here? What else possibly could there be for me to do? And he was just very repetitive on the phone with the same things so in a nutshell I would never recommend this card or company to anyone dreading client.

Terrible customer service. The people I spoke to on the phone were very rude and unhelpful. They acted like they had no idea what was going on and gave me contradicting information. One person told me one thing, and the next person told me something completely different. It was frustrating and really made me lose trust in this company.

Worst credit card company ever. I had a really bad experience with Collabria. They charged me a ton of fees without any explanation. When I called to complain, they were not willing to help me or provide any answers. They just kept saying it was my fault and that I should have read the fine print. This is not how you treat customers and I will never use this credit card again.

I am extremely disappointed with Collabria Financial Services Inc. I have been a loyal customer for over two years and have never had an issue until recently.
