Great place to work. Lots of great people. My dad worked there for many years. He passed away 11 months ago, and my mom is still waiting for the pension to be fixed. How long does it take? How long are they going to drag their feet?
There is pollution and and a noxious smell coming from this facility. Do they dump their pollution directly into the water? Just the sulphuric smell alone leads me to think that it can't be good for the environment. Not to mention the noise pollution that comes from this place as well...
The mill in Crofton employs many people and is a significant part of the industry in the province. Only thing is that it causes there to be a not-so-good smell in Crofton on a number of days during the year, particularly foggy days. I think often about what Crofton could be like if the mill was no longer there.
