GREAT SERVICE & OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE. I brought my wife and young daughter to Peterborough's Trent-Severn Waterway to see the Lift Lock for the first time. It was worth the drive and wait. The overall experience was phenomenal. Great job to Courtney and The Captain for the wonderful time spent and learning experience!
Take the afternoon cruise, the dinner cruise does not include the lift lock experience. The lift locks close late afternoon.
Edit: saw some other reviews about scaring young children. So I'm going to add it here. The lift locks are very old and have a history, some of which was not so good. If you google it, you'll even find it on lists about haunted places. …
