If there was a separate rating system I would have given 5 stars for the pool training. It was great. Dealing with Tyler however left a sour taste in my mouth. My husband & I were very understanding that we didn't leave much time for open water dives so we would have to go back to complete the dives. He started talking about how we would have to take a refresher course and we would lose all the money we already put into the course. He said a bunch of sarcastic comments that were unnecessary. Just rude overall. And we had never ever taken a course in open water that you start from scratch, always have jumped in right at the boat which are very easy to navigate for buoyancy and all have multiple buddy checks and stress test items taught to us. I don't understand why we would have to take a whole portion of the course again. We were going to call him out on all the unnecessary rubbish he said. But he denied that he ever said that. I’m sure other diving places would not do this as well, yet there a couple other hidden charges for making up the “time loss”. One, he talked to us each separately instead of giving us the same message, so sooner we figured it out and called him out on it, the better he could play his innocent card, saying we were “misunderstood”. This was a one time offer as well, once money is paid, it can never be used again at another time. There was not even a family issue this time or some safety issue, it was just they overbooked the trip and we were then being punished for it. Terrible way to run a course.

I had a great experience at Aquasub. The instructors were very knowledgeable and made sure I felt comfortable in the water. The dive trips were well organized and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend Aquasub to others.

Aquasub is a great dive shop. The instructors are very experienced and make sure you feel safe in the water. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. The dive trips are organized and I always have a great time. Highly recommend Aquasub!
