Dropped off my elderly mother's complete collection of Royal Albert Old County Rose china in June on her behalf, they sold it and she received a cheque for $300 with no explanation. I guess they think the elderly don't know what their stuff is worth. Is it 1980? I'd have expected one of them to call me with any questions or for an explanation of the price that was achieved. My lawyer took this further as she had already dealt w them once, but got no further other than offering a lawyer's letter that wasn't taken up. Very disappointing experience. Also don't offer insurance to clients against which they could submit a claim. I wouldn't do business with these people if you intend to be treated ethically.
