Our hostess got us the perfect table with a view and our waiter was so professional and even gave us a complimentary dessert. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I would like to start by saying that the service was fantastic. However, this should have been an amazing wedding meal, but was not… unfortunately. Compared to our experience in the Rundle Bar, 1888 CHOP HOUSE fell short. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The atmosphere was elegant and the decor was lovely. The wait staff were attentive and polite throughout our meal. However, the food did not live up to the expectations. Our steaks were overcooked and the sides were bland. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The initial impression and atmosphere were mediocre - nothing special or unique. The quality of the food was subpar. The steak was dry and lacked flavor, and the sides were average at best. The overall experience left us feeling unsatisfied and wishing we had chosen a different restaurant. The customer service and staff were friendly enough, but it did not make up for the disappointment in the food. The ambiance and decor were average, with nothing that stood out. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, but the amenities were limited. As for value for money, I would say it was not worth the price we paid. Overall, I would not recommend 1888 Chop House.
